What you need
We'd rather meet you face to face
Some companies will sign you up over the phone in five minutes. We don't think that's fair on you. Would you start a job you've never seen?
We'll invite you to the depot to see the vans and where you load, meet your on-site manager and the team, and ask us anything, with no pressure. You decide whether it's right for you before you start. It's how we build a proper working relationship from day one.

Questions
How much will I earn?
Up to £180.84 a day including VAT and your daily bonus, paid weekly. Van hire is £8 a day. You'll see the full breakdown as soon as you've applied.
Am I employed or self-employed?
Self-employed. You're paid weekly for the days you work and look after your own tax and National Insurance.
Can I work most days of the week, or just a few?
Either. You choose your own availability, whether that's one or two days a week, weekends, or most days of the week.
How long is a working day?
About 9 hours, from picking up your van at the delivery station to bringing it back.
How long does loading take?
About 10 minutes. Parcels arrive at the station already sorted into route order, so you just load and go.
Do I need my own phone?
Yes. You'll use your own smartphone for the delivery app, and a power bank is a good idea to keep it charged through the day. As you're self-employed, the business-use part of your phone bill can be claimed as a business expense.
Do I need my own van?
No. You can hire a delivery van from us for £8 a day. Your on-site manager issues a fuel card, so you never pay for fuel.
Can I take the van home?
No. Vans stay at the delivery station and are returned there at the end of each day.
Can I drive with an automatic licence?
No. Our vans are manual, so you'll need a full UK or EU manual licence. An automatic-only licence can't be accepted.
What documents do I need to bring?
Your driving licence, plus one of these to show your right to work: a UK or Irish passport (in date or expired), a full UK birth certificate with proof of your National Insurance number, or a Home Office share code showing you're allowed to work self-employed in the UK.
Can I sign up over the phone?
No. We always meet you face to face at the depot first, so you can see the vans, meet the team and ask anything before you decide. We'll call you within 24 hours of applying to arrange it.
Is there a refer-a-friend bonus?
Yes. Once you're driving with us you get your own referral link. When a friend you refer completes 22 routes, you get £200.
Is there a background check?
Yes. Before you start, everyone passes a background check, including an international check. We pay for it, so it costs you nothing.
I've never done deliveries. Can I apply?
Yes. You'll start on around 15 training routes, which build up gradually so you get used to the driving and delivering at your own pace. On 2 of them, a driver trainer comes out with you.
